When my roommates and I moved into this place, there was a pretty obvious issue. Looking at the floorplan I made, you can see there is an absolutely massive room – too big for anything really.

So I pitched my landlord on building a temporary wall to split the room into a bedroom and a living area. Many discussions later he agreed, and we got to work. This was a team effort – my mom, dad, girlfriend, and both my roommates pitched in to get it done. in the end I created a room inside the walls that I really loved. I didn’t get many great photos so some are taken from the room I lived in just before in the same house, where I set the new one up very similarly:
