This is the second year Capstone Design project I pitched, which later was voted as a top project and a group of my peers who ranked my idea 1st ended up on my team! The general concept is a motorized display that can move around freely in a room and pan/tilt to face the viewer. The end goal is to provide a useful product to professionals who need to keep their hands free and need information to do their work – think surgeons, mechanics, factory floor workers, kitchen workers, etc.

My role on the team was split between mechanical design for the pan/tilt mechanism, motor spools, and pulleys, and programming the linear motion code with my teammate Evan.
